With the lead up to Christmas, the Xbox 360 line up looks to be significantly improved with a large range of new titles being released this month.

Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (09/11/07)

Having played the multiplayer beta of this myself, I am looking forward to this game. Multiplayer wise, it combines all the great elements of the infantry combat of Battlefield 2 with the superb online gaming system of Halo 3 with some significant improvements such as clan tags. The MP also allows players to upgrade and unlock new weapons, accessories and camoflage allowing for a wide range customisability to make your gameplay unique.

In terms on the singleplay, this is rumoured to be excellent but extremely short at just 4 hours. For a brief synopsis of this check out the Wiki.

Mass Effect (16/11/07)

In the sequel to the rather mediocre Alien Vs. Predator movie a Predator scout ships crash lands in small-town America. All the Aliens being carried on board escape their captors and leave only one Predator surviving. On it's own, the remaining Predator must do battle with a number of Aliens, including the powerful Pred-Alien created in the first movie. The town's populace are meanwhile stuck in the middle of this inter-galactic showdown. As with the first film, 'Requiem' is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.

The new trailer for one the most highly anticipated post apolcalyptical survival horror movie set to hit cinemas on the 14th December 2007.

Synopsis: A man-made virus wipes out the population of New York City, leaving Robert Neville (Will Smith) the last human survivor in the city and possibly the world. Neville lives alone for three years, attempting to contact and find other possible survivors. He is watched by the Infected, mutant victims of the plague. Neville works to find a way to create a cure using his own immune blood, but he finds himself outnumbered by the Infected and running out of time.

IMDB: I Am Legend

Aired last night during Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance".

I can't wait for this! The survival horror movie trailer "I Am Legend" will be debuted at the beginning of all showing of Oceans 13 - a movie which will be released this summer on June the 8th.

IMDB: Robert Neville is the last man alive. He busies himself with preparing for a nightly attack from the rest of the world - all of which have transformed into blood-thirsty vampires.

The Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Begins is to be filmed and released in IMAX format SlashFilm has revealed. IMAX delievers 10 times the filming quality but as a consequence film crews are forced to work with bulky cameras and equipment. The above shot is of Joker pre-accident. I can't wait to see this one when it's out!

Summer is here and all the major US TV shows have concluded for their current seasons. Lost has finished, 24, Smallville, Ugly Betty, Heroes, The Unit, Everybody Hates Chris and The Sopranos is on a season break.

Doesn't really leave much else to watch? I don't suppose this is newsworthy but it is Memorial Day in the states so their is no movie news today! I suppose it doesn't matter though as I'm off to Hong Kong in a week! =D
