Pan’s Labyrinth is a tale of a young girl, Ofelia, who travels with her pregnant mother to a country retreat to meet with her stepfather, Captain Vidal who has been tasked with the job of hunting down rebels in the ascension of General Franco during the Spanish Civil War. Aside from this chilling hunt, Pan’s Labyrinth tells the story of another, fairy tale world that Ofelia dreams of - a world which separates her from the brutal world surrounding her. In this world she meets a fawn in a nearby labyrinth and is tasked to carry out three quests to prove herself as being the princess of an imaginary kingdom.

Fresh from his astounding success with Rocky, Sylvester Stallone jumps into the jungle boots of John Rambo, an ex-green beret returning home to a country which has turned hostile to veterans. Drifting from town to town, Rambo wanders into a small hick town where he is quickly picked up by the police, who attempt to throw him out of the town. Arrested for resisting these attempts, Rambo is taken to a cell, abused and beaten until finally he cracks and makes his escape from the station into the mountains. Action ensues as a Rambo, armed only with a knife, beats anything thrown at him in a crazed continuation of the war on American territory.

Edward Norton stars as Eisenheim the Illusionist, an accomplished magician in turn of the century Vienna. After his childhood sweetheart is secretly murdered by the Crown Prince Leopold, Eisenheim uses his magic to uncover the dastardly royal to the public as the true perpetrator of the crime.
