A new Forrest Gump movie?!

It has been thirteen years since the multi oscar winning movie Forrest Gump first appeared on the silver screen but now it's back - with a sequel.

The sequel was scheduled to be filmed and released in the 90's but due to legal problems between Paramount Studios and the Forrest Gump author Groom. This issue is now resolved and casting is scheduled to begin and rumour has it that Paramount are in negotiations with both Tom Hanks and Gary Sinese.

Shooter - Yesterday was about honor. Today is about justice.

With the imminent release of Shooter here is the trailer for the movie so that you can decide whether or not to go see it. I will be.

A marksman (Wahlberg) living in exile is coaxed back into action after learning of a plot to kill the president. Ultimately double-crossed and framed for the attempt, he goes on the run to track the real killer and find out who exactly set him up, and why.

Marine, The

John Cena makes his big-screen debut as former marine John Tritan in this dumb but fun action adventure. I'm not familiar with Cena's wrestling career, but after The Rock's success with Walking Tall (IMO!), me and Bull were more than willing to give the big lug a chance and watch his first attempt at real acting.

R-Point

I am a great fan of South Korean movies and believe that many of the best films recently have been produced here. I'm not normally a fan of horror movies but I purchased this one last year purely for its Vietnam War content.

R-Point is a thrilling South Korean horror story set in the jungles of Vietnam during the Vietnamese conflict of the late 60's and early 70's. The film follows a platoon of 10 soldiers who are sent to an area in Vietnam called R-Point. They are sent to seatch for a group of MIA soldiers who have been missing for months. The reason for the mission is because the headquarters has been recieving deathly cries for help over the radio from the missing soldiers.
